Downtown in December in Oklahoma City.
Don’t let the name fool you— Downtown in December actually runs from Nov. 6 to Jan. 31 in Oklahoma City. The city is lit up in splendor to celebrate the holiday. Check out the Bricktown Canal Lights until Jan. 10, the myriad of lights in the Deep Deuce district, and the Lights on Broadway on select nights.
Festival of Angels in Ponca City.
In nearby Ponca City, you can visit the Festival of Angels, which is a free event that runs throughout the month of December. With over 300 festive light displays in three different locations, you can’t help but get into the holiday spirit when you check out this festival.
Philbrook Festival in Tulsa.
Tulsa’s Philbrook Museum of Art is hosting its annual festival on select nights from Nov. 27 to Dec. 26. This year, you’ll need to buy tickets in advance and arrive at a specified time in order to comply with COVID-19 safety precautions. The festival includes thousands of holiday lights, as well as festive music and visits with Santa.
