Buick and GMC both offer a wide range of family-friendly SUVs and crossovers that are loaded with smart tech and amenities. If you’re going on a road trip across Oklahoma with your friends or family, these features will make your trip easier and more comfortable.
Massaging front-row seats
Some Buick and GMC models such as the midsize Buick Enclave offer luxurious massaging front-row seats. These soothing massaging functions will keep you and your co-pilot comfortable even on long drives that would normally leave you achy.
A road trip is a great time to bond with your family, but a noisy cabin can make it hard to communicate. Fortunately, some Buick and GMC SUVs are equipped with QuietTuning with Active Noise Cancellation. This feature filters outside noise for a quieter, more relaxed cabin, so you can have better conversations — and keep an ear out for your kids.
Loading or unloading your cargo area during a road trip can be a hassle, especially when you’re already handling diaper bags, car seats, and coolers. With the available hands-free programmable power liftgate on SUVs like the GMC Acadia, you can easily pop the trunk even when your hands are full by kicking your foot under the bumper.
8-inch infotainment system
Whether you get a GMC or a Buick, both brands offer an advanced infotainment system with an available 8-inch color touchscreen, in-vehicle apps, voice-activated calls, smartphone syncing, and Wi-Fi Hotspot capabilities.

One of the many reasons families choose large SUVs is for the expansive cargo space. However, some SUVs don’t offer as much space as others. One of the most spacious SUVs for the 2021 model year is the Buick Enclave. It is so spacious, U.S. News included it in its list of the 13 SUVs With the Most Cargo Space in 2021.
Many three-row SUVs have limited cargo space, especially with the seats in place. This isn’t the case with the Enclave. Not only do passengers have plenty of room in all three rows, but there is also ample cargo space behind the third row. With the seats in place, the Enclave offers 23.6 cubic feet for cargo. That’s enough for everyone to pack an overnight bag or for your next large shopping spree.
To gain more cargo space, you can lower both the second and third rows. The Enclave comes with 58 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second row and an impressive 97.6 cubic feet behind the first row. That space will help you out on moving day or come in handy for the materials on your next DIY project.
Thanks to its 60/40-split folding third row and foldable second-row seats, the Enclave boasts an impressive, versatile interior that you can adjust to fit your needs. Explore the Buick Enclave in person at Wilson Buick GMC in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Buick has always represented the pinnacle of attainable luxury, but the all-new Envision manages to raise the bar even higher. We all knew it was a seriously sharp SUV even before it hit the streets of Stillwater, Oklahoma, but Autotrader recently reaffirmed this idea when it named the 2021 Buick Envision to its list of Best Interiors Under $50,000.
If you’ve ever seen a picture of the new Envision cabin, you
know it’s sleek, stylish, and striking. The dash flows seamlessly from left to
right, interrupted only by the stunning available 10.2-inch touch-screen
The appointments are as luxurious as they are eye-catching,
with optional heated and ventilated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering
wheel, an ambient lighting system, and more. Plus, standard Buick QuietTuning™
with Active Noise Cancellation can clear the cacophony from your commute.
These refinements were not lost on Autotrader writer Eric
Brandt. When discussing the stylish Envision, they said, “A redesign for 2021 has
repositioned the Envision to compete with class leaders while undercutting them
on price. Step inside the new Envision and you might think you’ve entered a
more expensive European luxury crossover.”
If you want a new family-friendly SUV packed with premium amenities, look no further than the 2021 Buick Encore and Encore GX. Both models have everything your family needs for everyday drives and weekend outings. To determine which one is better for you, take a look at their key differences.
Both SUVs have peppy engine options that make for fun drives. However, while the original Encore comes with a single 1.4-liter Turbo engine, the Encore GX gives two engine options. The most powerful of these engines is the 155-horsepower 1.3-liter Turbo that’s available for the Encore GX.
The Encore and Encore GX have plenty of space for a weekend away with your friends or a trip to the hardware store. The Encore offers up to 48.4 cubic feet of total storage space, while the Encore GX has a slightly expanded 50.2 cubic feet of cargo room.
No matter which model you choose, you’ll get a fantastic infotainment system with smartphone compatibility. You’ll also appreciate that the Encore GX comes with some upgraded features like wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ as well as an 8-inch touchscreen display.
The best way to decide which model is right for your family is by taking them each out for a test drive. Schedule each test drive at Wilson Buick GMC in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
The J.D. Power 2020 U.S. Sales Satisfaction Index Study aims to measure how satisfied customers are with different automotive brands. Buick and GMC both shined in the 2020 study, which surveyed 35,816 new-vehicle buyers, for making the car buying process a more convenient one.
In the study, six factors came into play when determining which brands had the highest amount of customer satisfaction: the delivery process, the dealership personnel, establishing terms of the deal, the dealership facilities, the paperwork process, and the dealership website. The survey also looked at customers who rejected brands and took into account the salespeople, the negotiation process, the vehicle price, and both the facilities and inventory of the dealership.
GMC and Buick earned second and third place respectively in the SSI Study, cementing the brands as being worthwhile options when choosing your next vehicle. Out of a possible 1,000 points, GMC and Buick scored 804 and 803 points, comfortably surpassing the industry average of 784 points. These high scores show that when you shop for a vehicle from one of these brands, you’ll likely come away satisfied.
